Keep reputation earned.
Honest experiences help people find their place. These standards apply to community listings, reviews, and owner responses.
Share your own experience.
Review a community you have participated in. Explain what happened, what worked for you, and what could improve. Distinguish your opinion from facts you can support.
- No fabricated experiences, impersonation, copied reviews, or coordinated rating manipulation.
- Do not offer or accept rewards in exchange for a particular rating, or pressure someone to change a review.
- Owners cannot review their own server. Use an owner response to add context.
Give people something to learn from.
Describe the conversations, activities, or moderation you experienced. A negative experience can be worth sharing; criticism should focus on conduct rather than personal attacks.
“I joined for ___. During my time there, ___. I appreciated ___, and I think ___ could improve.”
Rate overall experience, moderation, community, activity, and safety based on what you observed. A review needs at least 80 characters, and each account has one review per server. You can edit your review; edits return it to moderation.
A rating is a member’s perspective, not a guarantee about a community.
Be direct without causing harm.
- No threats, harassment, hate speech, or calls to target another person or community.
- Do not publish passwords, private contact details, identifying documents, or other people’s private information.
- No spam, scams, malicious links, or unrelated advertising in reviews and responses.
Keep reports focused on the specific content and supporting context. Do not repost sensitive material in a public review.
Set expectations people can trust.
Use an accurate description, relevant interests, an appropriate banner, and a working invite. Claim only a server you actually own. Do not imply that ownership verification means VouchRealm endorses your server or guarantees its safety.
Owner responses should address the experience respectfully. Do not identify a reporter, expose private information, or retaliate against someone for a review.
Report the issue. Give it context.
Use the report control on a community, review, or owner response. Describe the relevant standard and what a moderator should examine. Repeated reports do not establish that a claim is true.
If a decision affects your content, check the explanation in your account and use the appeal option when available.
